Other Pharmacies

The Other Pharmacy maintenance screen allows you to enter records for pharmacies outside your own system. These pharmacies will be stored in your records in order to complete transfers from your pharmacy to these "Other Pharmacies."

How Do I Add an Other Pharmacy?

To add information for a pharmacy, follow the steps below.

 

1.Click on the Maintenance menu item.

2.Select Other Pharmacies. The Other Pharmacy maintenance screen will open.

3.Click on the Create New Other Pharmacy option.

4.Enter the pharmacy's Name and the name of a Contact person within the pharmacy.

5.Enter the specific identification numbers (DEA, NPI, and NABP numbers) of the pharmacy.

6.Enter the pharmacy's contact information (Address, Phone Number, Fax Number, and Email).

7.To make this pharmacy an active option for transfers, mark the Active checkbox.

8.Click Save.

 

You can also add "Other Pharmacies" on the fly when you are transferring scripts from the Patient Profile.

 

 

How Do I Edit an Other Pharmacy?

1.Click on the Maintenance menu item.

2.Select Other Pharmacies. The Other Pharmacy maintenance screen will open.

3.Search for the correct pharmacy in the Search Other Pharmacy field. (You can run a search by Name, DEA or Phone Number.) Select the correct pharmacy from the drop-down list.

4.Select the fields that need to be changed (e.g., Name, NPI) and enter the new information.

5.Once your changes have been made, click Save.

 

 

How Do I View User Logs?

To view user log records, click on the Logs tab. The log shows changes that have been made to this pharmacy's record.
